(A) Springfield 1898 Krag Rifle with strong 1900 cartouche and splendid two piece stocks. Arsenal blue finish with 1900 pattern rear sight and WWI leather military sling. Comes with two pieces of Krag cleaning rod and oiler in butt. CONDITION: Very fine with over 80% blue finish remaining with balance turning patina. Bore is worn and slightly frosted. Action is butter smooth. Stock is exceptional, sling is stretched and worn. Has late 1900 small knurled cocking knob (B) Springfield 1898 Krag rifle with 1903 cartouche. Two piece walnut military stocks with 1900 pattern rear sight, brass muzzle cover, cleaning rod and oiler in butt. CONDITION: Very good with strong stock markings and very good slightly worn bore. Stocks have been lightly oiled. Blue finish is over 85% with most losses ta faded finish on receiver and at buttplate. Action is smooth and operates properly.
