Lot consists of seven Type 38 and Type 99 action rifles and carbines. (A) Type 38 carbine receiver manufactured by Nagoya. Mum is completely intact. All matching numbers. Complete with cleaning rod and reproduction sling and dust cover. CONDITION: Metal components retain blue finish and show corrosion all around. Stock shows handling marks all around with letters carved into buttstock. Bright bore with good rifling. Action locks up tightly. (B) Type 38 carbine receiver manufactured by Koishikawa. Mum has been almost completely worn away. No matching numbers. Barrel has been reverse crowned. Complete with cleaning rod and reproduction Tokyo Juki Kogyo sling. CONDITION: Metal components show wear all around with areas of bluing. Stock shows many scattered handling and storage marks. Good bore with faint rifling. Action locks up tightly. (C) Type 99 receiver manufactured by Kokura. Mum has been filed off. No matching numbers. Complete with cleaning rod, monopod, dustcover, and reproduction Tokyo Juki Kogyo sling. CONDITION: Metal components show areas of bluing and corrosion. Stock shows scattered handling marks. Mirror bore with good rifling. Action locks up tightly. (D) Type 99 "Last Ditch" receiver manufactured by Nagoya. Mum is intact. Matching numbers include bolt and receiver. Complete with reproduction Tokyo Juki Kogyo sling. CONDITION: Metal components show areas of light corrosion. Stock shows scattered handling marks. Bore is bright and retains faint rifling. Action locks up tightly. (E) Type 99 "Last Ditch" receiver manufactured by Nagoya. Metal components have been chrome plated. Matching numbers include: receiver and bolt. Rear of bolt safety is smooth. Wood butt pad is not present. Complete with chrome plated hooked quillon bayonet with reproduction scabbard, and reproduction sling. CONDITION: Chrome plated metal components show few handling marks. Stock shows scattered handling marks and small area of white paint. Bore is bright with good rifling. Action locks up tightly. (F) Type 99 "Last Ditch" receiver manufactured by Izawa Jyuko. Matching numbers include: receiver and bolt. Complete with reproduction sling. CONDITION: Metal components show few cosmetic handling. Stock shows scattered handling marks. Bore is bright with faint rifling. Action locks up tightly. (G) Type 99 trainer receiver. Receiver has no manufacturer marking. Bore is smooth. Complete with cleaning rod and reproduction sling. This trainer is NOT safe to fire. CONDITION: Metal components show light surface corrosion and small areas of wear to finish. Stock show scattered handling marks. Bore is dark. Action locks up tightly.
