Manufactured 1862 to 1865. This is a standard as manufactured in Yonkers, New York; .54 caliber, breechloader, single shot, 21" round barrel, brass barrel band and buttplate, blued iron parts, and originally had a case colored lock and frame, and walnut stocks with saddle ring on left. CONDITION: Factory markings are strong. Barrel is a deep dark brown patina. Case colors have darkened. Block has some dings. Screws are fouled. Some chipping of toe and heel of butt plate. Stocks are very gouged and weathered. Strong bore with darkness in grooves. Perfect action.
