(A) Model 1898. Typical standard Krag rifle and correct in all respects. CONDITION: The stock has been refinished thus removing all the cartouche stamps with exception of proof P. Metal is basically soft gray patina. Rifling visible. (B) Model 1894. This gun was arsenal updated, stock replaced with later style and no wood plug visible on fore-end. The cartouche on left side is visible but not readable with strong proof P on wrist. CONDITION: The barrel still shows blue but has rust spotting. Frame is age spotted. Stock is excellent. The bore is good with a TE reading of 2. Also comes with fine canvas Nubuck sling.
