Lot consists of (A) Smith-Corona 1903-A3. Typical World War II A-3 model with the updated rear sight, dark matte finish, S-C 11-42 marked barrel and a pistol grip C-stock added with no cartouche. CONDITION: Metal is solid 95% and wood is excellent with usual handling marks. TE reading is 3 and ME reading is 1.5. (B) 1938 Model 1903 Rebuild. The frame dates to 1911 and the barrel is an SA 1-38. Replaced later type rear sight, swept bolt, and all milled parts. Stock is wide finger groove early model with two bolts. Handguard is correct for 1938 period. The frame has been drilled on back right and left side for sight and scope mount. Right side of stock has RIA re-build mark. CONDITION: Frame has been re-blued. Balance of metal is a matte finish. Stock is excellent. TE reading is 4 and ME is 2+.
