Lot consists of two Model 91/30 Russian Mosin Nagant rifles. (A) Hex receiver manufactured by Izhevsk in 1933. Matching numbers include: receiver, floorplate, and buttplate. No import stamp. Complete with sling. Cleaning rod is not present. Metal components show wear on floorplate, buttplate, and small areas of loss on barrel. Wood is in fair condition, showing small areas of loss to varnish and many scattered handling and storage marks. Bore is bright and retains strong rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. (B) Izhevsk receiver manufactured in 1938. Matching numbers include receiver and buttplate. Stock is duffel cut behind the rear sight. Complete with reproduction scope, mount, bolt, and sling. CONDITION: Metal components show areas of heavy corrosion with scattered areas of loss to finish. Stock shows areas of loss to varnish and scattered handling marks. Mirror bore with strong rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly.
