Lot consists of: (A) Type 26 revolver of standard configuration, serial number 54114 Nagoya arsenal. CONDITION: Gun retains nearly all of its original high polish bluing. Fine bore. Good action. Hammer retains much of its original finish. Right grip panel retains what appears to be original varnish. Left grip panel is badly replaced. Gun comes in a modern reproduction holster. (B) Type 97 automatic pistol serial number 69548 retains nearly all of its original rough military blue finish. Matching magazine. CONDITION: Well finished grips are excellent. A far above average 97 and very rare with original magazine. Bore is excellent. Appears to have seen little if any use. Action works perfectly. A superior specimen. Comes in a modern reproduction holster.
