Lot consists of two Colt US Army pistols. (A) Agusta Arsenal World War II rebuild of a 1917 era US Army 1911. Parkerized 1911 frame and slide. Barrel and serrated takedown lever are blued. Some minor pitting under finish. Diamond checkered wood grips appear to be later manufacture. U.S. property stamp on left side of frame is faint. Barrel is stamped "SF". Complete with lanyard loop and leather holster marked "Graton & Knight Co.". CONDITION: Parkerized finish shows scattered handling marks. Grips show scattered handling marks. Bore is bright and retains good rifling throughout. (B) Model 1911-A1 made in 1943 with wiped on blue finish. GHD Guy Dewey inspector stamped. Keyes type plastic grips. Replaced post-War Colt barrel. Front sight has been partially painted with white paint. CONDITION: Finish shows wear overall with areas of thinning. Plastic grips show few handling marks. Mirror bore with good rifling throughout.
