Made with Damascus barrels which have concave and tapered top rib with brass front bead with usual rib inscription. Splinter forend with wedge fastener is nicely checkered in point diamond pattern with steel tip. Case hardened action is nicely engraved in border pattern with a couple of sparse scroll bursts. Blued trigger guard. Ball grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a blued full steel buttplate. Housed in an original full leather with green felt interior Parker Bros. trunk case with cleaning accessories and Parker & Winchester 12A brass shells. CONDITION: Barrels are excellent retaining more than 90% original pattern. Bores are bright and shiny. Action retains more than 70% original case colors, particularly bold on locks. Substantial damage to the trigger plate and it does not fit with damage to the metal around the plate on the frame. Stocks are very good with impressions and a small chip near toe. It is worthy of a restoration effort. The case is as nice as one could ever hope to find for a gun of this vintage. Leather does show some drying and felt with rubs. Accessories are all very good. With some restorative effort, this gun can be brought back to glory!
