Lot consists of: (A) Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor Cadet rifle with breech block marked "Model 1873 (Eagle Over Arrows)" and "US". Blued lock marked "US Springfield 1873". Walnut full military stock with cartouches. Blued barrel with socket type bayonet. Comes with original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Overall good condition with original finish worn from use to about 50%. Stock cleaned long ago. Shootable bore with good mechanics. (B) Springfield Model 1873 rifle with breechblock marked "US Model 1873". Blued lock marked with "(Eagle)" and "US/Springfield". Blued barrel with Buffington rear sight. Walnut wood stock with "SWP 1884" proof. Set up for socket bayonet with original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Overall good with blued parts worn to 60% with lock having some light pitting. Wood lightly sanded and cleaned with visible cartouche. Good bore with good mechanics.
