Lot consists of (A) Savage Model 99F lever action takedown light weight rifle made in 1926. Blued round barrel and action. Brass cartridge counter. Marbles rear adjustable sight with fixed blade front sight. Walnut stocks with straight grip and steel Savage logo buttplate. Lever safety. CONDITION: Mechanically good with blued finish worn to a silvery patina. Wood has added finish with small sliver missing from forearm. Stock is cracked through center but seems solid. Missing tang sight. Shootable bore. (B) Savage Model 1899 with brass counter. Blued solid frame action and round barrel. Adjustable rear sight with fixed front sight. Walnut stocks with straight grip butt and Schnabel splinter forearm. Steel crescent butt. Lever safety. Hook and eye sling swivel eyes. CONDITION: Metal worn to a silvery patina. Wood has added finish with repair to buttstock. Action has damage on left side. Mechanically functions with a shootable bore. Missing rear sling eye.
