The maker name is not stamped on this pistol but determined by the patent date stamped on the hammer. This is a top hammer single shot .32 bore with a 2" barrel, single trigger and bag handle with real ivory or horn grips. Legends are sharp. CONDITION: Metal is a soft brown patina. Pistol works as double action only as there is no hammer to cock. The pistol resides in a period walnut case with faded red velvet lining. Accessories include a small fleur-de-lis pattern brass powder flask, small steel two cavity mold with built-in wrench and Eley cap tin. Nice mid-nineteenth century set.
