These popular target revolvers were built on the No. 3 frame, chambered for special cartridge (.38-44) with a 6 - 1/2" barrel, single action, nickel finish, monogram rubber grips with Paine front sight and adjustable rear. All frames built prior to 1898. The hammer and trigger guard are case color. Matching numbers on cylinder and barrel. CONDITION: This fine early target gun retains approximately 90% original factory nickel with some scattered minor age spots and flakes. Action is as tight as new. Traces of color. Excellent to near mint grips. Sharp rifling. A really crisp example of a turn of the century target revolver.
