Lot consists of: Two 7-1/2" nickel finish Colts, both hand fitted with a pair of genuine stag matching grips. (A) Manufactured 1913. CONDITION: Completely restored with new nickel finish to near new condition. All factory legends are still strong although there is a bit of minor bubbling under the nickel in the cylinder flutes. The action is as smooth as butter and the rifling is sharp. The grips are near mint. (B) 2nd Generation that is fairly scarce. Only 55 2nd Generations were made in .44 Special with 7-1/2" barrel in factory nickel finish making it the fourth rarest variation of the 2nd Generation production from 1958-1962 when the last one was made. CONDITION: Looks to be 100% original factory nickel with some handling marks and light mars but still a solid 99% and worthy of a factory letter to confirm. It has been fired but still has a minty bore and a butter smooth action as well. An incredibly nice set of Colts that could stand on there own but were made with matching grips and came in as a set so selling that same way.
