Lot consists of: (A) Very scarce .44 Hand Ejector post-war 1926 Model Military. Made in 1946-47. All matching numbers except the later type magna grips which date post 1968. Five screw frame with pinned barrel. Blue finish with case color hammer and trigger. Only 1,473 of this model were made and very few with the long barrel. CONDITION: Blue wear along sides of barrel, high edges, and edge of cylinder with drag line. Would estimate a solid 90% with a smooth action and sharp rifled bore with a bit of frosting. Comes in a gold box for a .38-44. (B) .38-44 Heavy Duty Transition post-war. Made in 1946-47. This was a police gun that had the markings ground off inside strap but still has rack number 146. Grips are later post 1968 replacements. Matching numbers. Blue finish, and case color hammer and trigger. CONDITION: Cylinder has been reblued and has violet hue otherwise 90% blue. Action is slick. Bore is sharp. (C) Boxed Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman with blue finish, case color hammer and trigger, adjustable rear sight, pinned barrel, recessed chambers, six shot double action, and silver medallion checkered walnut magna grips. Three screw frame. CONDITION: Aside from a light drag line and a minor handling mark, gun is near new and comes in original matching blue box with paper. Made 1969-72.
