This fine early three digit serial numbered Superposed was manufactured in 1949. Features two piece walnut stocks. Front stock has two hand checkered panels. Rear stock has a round knob pistol grip with two hand checkered panels at the wrist. Composite butt plate. Break open over and under action with a single select trigger and a long tang. Over and under barrels are choked skeet and skeet. Vented matte rib with single bead front sight. CONDITION: Bright and shiny tubes. Gun retains 85% of the original blue finish with just a bit of high edge wear and a few handling marks. Action has two small engraved panels. Two small spots of pitting at the muzzle on the left side. A few handling marks and varnish loss on the stocks. CORRECTION: Manufactured in 1949.
