Lot consists of (A) Allen Conversion U.S. Springfield Trapdoor Rifle. Standard conversion with 1866 dated block, early rear sight, three band, varnished original walnut stock. CONDITION: Repaired wrist, stock varnished, no visible cartouche. Metal is a clean soft patina. Clean and strong rifling. (B) Mauser Model 71/84. This is the 1884 updated version of the Mauser 71. CONDITION: Wood has lots of bruises and the metal is rusted but looks complete minus one barrel band spring. (C) Signed Kentucky Style Long Musket. Smooth bore, maple stock, octagon to round barrel, Ashmore percussion lock and brass patchbox. Name on top of barrel "Jno ?" Metal is gray. Stock is nice with no visible cracks but does have a heel repair. Smooth .28 bore.
