Early gun made on a #2 Frame with 28" Vulcan Steel barrels. Made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. Splinter forend with Deeley release is checkered in standard VH pattern. Action is engraved with zigzag border pattern and case hardened. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in standard VH pattern with dogs head buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refurbished. Retains most refurbished finish to both wood and metal surfaces. Barrel has some minor exterior spotting more towards muzzle. Action retains virtually all of its refurbished case color. Buttstock with repair at left side of top tang. Checkering is crisp as restored. Bores with some frosting. Mechanics are fine, though with forend removed there is some looseness in the hinge otherwise tight and sound.
