Later Marlin made gun with raised top rib. Barrels made of London Steel. Splinter forend with later roll type release, double triggers, extractor, auto safety. Engraved in standard Ideal grade pattern. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in two point pattern through the wrist has lined hard rubber buttplate. Made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refurbished retaining nearly all refurbished finish to both wood and metal with light handling marks. Right muzzle is slightly flared out and there are a couple of minor dings in the tube. Mechanics are fine. Bores with a touch of frosting.
