Lot consists of (A) Type 14 Nambu made at the Toriimatsu Branch of Nagoya Arsenal. Date code of 17.11 (November of 1942). Wood grips. Large trigger guard. Matching numbers including magazine. CONDITION: Retains 85% of a thin mottled type finish. Markings are clear. Wood grips have some dings and handling marks. Good mechanical function. Bore has sharp rifling with some light surface rust. (B) Type 94 made at Nagoya arsenal with a date code of 10.12 (December of 1935). 1935 made Type 94 pistols are extremely hard to find due to very limited production. Considering that production of the Type 94 only started in June of 1935, not many were produced that year. This gun has a 3 digit serial number and is all matching with the exception of the magazine. Early style black plastic grips. The finish on these earlier production guns is much finer than the standard war time guns. CONDITION: Retains 80% original finish overall. Minor areas of very slight pitting. All markings are clear. Grips are fine with some light handling marks. Bore has strong rifling with slight frosting. Fine mechanical function. GR
