This is a fine condition commercial Model 1911. All of the parts are correct for this era gun with the exception of the slide stop which is a serrated post-War style. Early traits include the long smooth trigger, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered safety, smooth and flat mainspring housing with loop and bevel edge rear sight with early U notch. The walnut grips are proper era diamond checkered. The finish is the correct era Colt factory commercial blue. CONDITION: The slide has some light high edge wear retaining a solid 98% finish. The frame has a light drag line, minor high edge wear, and is turning patina on the straps. The blue barrel has polish chamber and the lug is stamped with an S. The magazine is correct tempered two tone with polished unmarked pinned base. It comes with an old Boyt US holster
