Made by Hanel in Germany, it resembles a World War I GEW infantry rifle with bayonet lug, military style stock, "roller coaster" rear military sight, commercial quality factory blue finish, straight pull bolt and sling swivels. This rifle is a single shot and designed to allow Germans to practice shooting military firearms, which was prevented by the Treaty of Versailles. The left side of the stock has a stamped triangle with letters and the bottom of the stock is stamped 3202. CONDITION: Other than some light handling wear, this rifle appears to be in near new all original factory finish. The bore is razor sharp.
