Made in 1900. Features the scarce and desirable case color finish frame. Other features include full octagon blue barrel, sporting sights, tube magazine, takedown, grooved walnut forend and rifle butt. Rifle sports a Marbles tang sight. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain approximately 75% original blue blending smoothly with soft patina. Legends are sharp. Left side of frame retains about 70% original case color while left side has traces but has patterned out. Stocks are excellent with usual handling marks and are proud to metal but there is a wood repair at toe that could have been done better and would be an easy fix. Rifling is fine and fairly sharp. Action is good. From the Mel Hrubetz collection.
