Made in Philadelphia with matted concave game rib and steel front bead. Splinter forend is checkered in point pattern. Action with border engraving and marked "STERLINGWORTH" on sides. Made with double triggers, extractors, and auto safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a modern Silvers type pad. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain 90% of an ancient restored blued finish, perhaps redone by the factory. Action retains about 30% original case colors. Stocks with scattered hunting bumps and marks retain most of an older restored finish. Trigger guard shows most of an older restored blue. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. From the Mel Hrubetz collection.
