This rifle was made in 1940 and is standard in all respects. The Hornet round constituted 3.49% of production before 1964 with a total of 20,306 made. Early features include the clip cut frame, matching number etched on bolt, pistol grip checkered walnut stocks, checkered steel buttplate, straight comb, standard sights. CONDITION: Metal retains about 98% original factory blue finish with handling marks and a scratch around breech. Wood is excellent with minor handling marks. Mirror bore and fine action.
