Chambered for the .32-20 cartridge, this standard carbine features a 20" round barrel, full magazine, post front sight, folding ladder rear sight, saddle ring and stud, blue finish, walnut stocks with carbine butt. CONDITION: This example is extremely clean. The barrel and tube retain at least 98% original blue. The band retains 50% as does the lever. The buttplate retains at least 70% blue while the frame has some of the usual flaking to brown patina but still retains approximately 70% of the bright blue. The stocks are excellent with some minor bumps and bruises but still proud to metal. The bore is sharp and action crisp. This is definitely one of the nicer, all original 1892 carbines. From the Mel Hrubetz collection.
