The SA barrel is dated 12-32, serial number 1882 and stamped Model 1922 which indicates this rifle was arsenal updated to the M2 model with M2 bolt and short throw action. It has the later short stem Lyman 48 receiver sight. All metal has the later parkerized finish with exception to magazine and safety. The walnut stock has the SA R cartouche in box on left side of stock and finger groove forend. Buttplate is checkered. Comes with a 1903 sling with brass frogs. CONDITION: This rifle is in fantastic condition retaining at least 98% arsenal finish with a few minor handling marks. Rifling is crisp. Stocks are excellent with sharp as new stamps.
