Early VH Grade gun made on a #2 frame with shortened Vulcan Steel barrels which has matted rib and usual rib legend. Made with double triggers, extractors, and non-auto safety. Splinter forend with Deeley release. Action engraved with zig-zag border pattern. Replacement capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist with dog's head buttplate at butt. CONDITION: Very good as refurbished. Barrels retain about 80% restored blued finish. Action retains nearly all of its restored case colors. Replacement stocks retain nearly all of their custom finishes with crisp custom finish. Mechanics are fine. Bores are pitted, and barrels have been shortened. From the Mel Hrubetz collection.
