Made in 1971 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the NRA. The gun itself is a Colt Gold Cup National Match serial number 702 NRA. It features special gold medallion inset on checkered walnut grips. Left side of slide is stamped "1871 NRA Centennial 1971- The first 100 Years of Service" The finish is Colt high polish royal blue. All other features are standard Gold Cup with adjustable trigger, flat mainspring housing, adjustable target rear sight. CONDITION: Gun appears unfired and is housed in its original Colt walnut display case. 2478 of these special guns were made in 1971 only.
