Lot consists of an impressive pair of engraved revolvers date to 1954-55. Engraving is well executed, exhibiting nearly 2/3 coverage in a scroll pattern. Both guns were built on the square butt K target frame, five screw pin barrel, target adjustable rear sights six shot, fluted cylinder. Both hammers have wide target spur but only one has wide trigger. Finish is blue with case color hammer and trigger. The grips are later era smooth target style with silver medallions. CONDITION: Both revolvers contain mostly all of their custom reapplied blue finished preformed at the time of engraving. Case colors are brilliant. Both revolvers have near mint bores fine action and excellent grips. This set comes in a beautiful oak and leather, English style Huey case (One of the finest case companies in the world) custom French fitted carry case. An outstanding pair of .38 target revolvers.
