This fine target model was manufactured in 1927 and features a 6" barrel, high adjustable front sight, target rear sight, flat-top frame, six shot, fluted cylinder, double action with checkered trigger and back-strap. The top of the hammer is finished in high polish nitre blue and the gun is fitted with silver medallion real ivory grips. This revolver was then beautifully engraved with scroll pattern with nearly two thirds coverage. CONDITION: Metal retains nearly all of the professionally applied blue done at time of engraving. Grips have great color. The bore exhibits sharp rifling with just some minor frosting. Revolver indexes and locks up like a vault with smooth double action pull. An extremely sharp looking early Colt engraved target model.
