Produced by noted gunsmith and arms creator John Martz, who is best known for his alterations and upgrades of Luger and P-38 pistols. This P-38 has been chambered for the .45 ACP which required the larger barrel, frame, and larger custom magazine. These pistols were all hand made by John Martz requiring several months to make each one. Fitted with blade front and notch rear sights, the left side of the slide is marked "P38 MARTZ 45 No 15", with circled "JVM" and "15" on the right side of the frame. The grips are black Bakelite. CONDITION: Very fine with slight use being evident. Most all custom finish remains with slight wear to straw finished control levers. Bore is excellent and action operates properly.
