This has got to be one of the finest Colts to come out of the custom shop. It sports a 7 - 1/2" barrel, nickel finish, beautifully factory engraved with 2/3rds coverage in nineteenth century style scroll with pearl grips. Special "TEXAN44R" serial number. Another special touch rarely seen is the blue and gold rings around breech and muzzle of barrel. CONDITION: Unfired in blue box with white liner box and paperwork. May have a handling mark. The factory letter states that it was shipped on August 13, 2004 and that the master engraver was the famed Ben Lane. Listed with unique serial number and pre-War markings. Engraving is listed as grade "C" with listed gold bands. It was sent to Cherry's for David Tate. All custom work is listed on letter.
