Manufactured in 1922. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the two line, two block patent and Hartford address markings on the left side of the slide, circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations and the two line caliber marking on the reverse. Marked "1 IVP" and "48" on the trigger guard. Checkered case hardened spur hammer and royal blue trigger, with checkered grips marked "COLT" in banners at the top with Rampant Colt logos in the center. CONDITION: Excellent with 99% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks and a small amount of edge wear overall. The grips are equally fine, with the left grip having slightly faded while right grip deep black. Bore and mechanics are excellent, Would be very difficult to improve upon.
