Originally manufactured by Walther, this P-38 has been reworked by California gunsmith John Martz, who significantly reduced the overall dimensions of the pistol without sacrificing the pistol's distinct profile. Measuring 6 - 3/4" in total length and 4 - 7/8" tall, this pistol is fitted with fixed sights, with "JVM" and "64" in ovals on the left side of the frame, mixed "359" and "135" Nazi proofs, checkered fancy walnut grips and one magazine shortened to match the grip frame. CONDITION: Near mint as custom refurbished with 98% plus high polish blue finish, showing a few light handling marks overall. The grips are very fine with sharp checkering and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent.
