Lot consists of: Five horns. (A) Large presentation style horn with bright metal mounts, small spout, screw in fill plug, blank shield for inscription. (B) Attractive horn with raised carved five-pointed star and brass sling ring. (C) Wide horn with serrated brass band around the base with a sling ring, and sling ring on band at throat. Half of the lower band present, the rest missing. Later spout added. (D) Large horn with screw plug in concave base. (E) Small priming horn attached to flint or implement pouch by brass rings. Old improvised strap present, intact, with two old repairs. Horn is dark. Small hole from insect damage at bottom edge. CONDITION: Very good overall. (SR)
