Round barrel is struck with British proof and TRYON PHILADELPHIA (indistinct). Simple bolted lock stamped TRYON. Figured walnut full stock. CONDITION: Barrel has medium pitting throughout. Lock has deep even age brown. Hammer is engraved en suite with lock. Brass mounts with brass butt cap. Stock in fair condition, with minor marks throughout. Split at fore end on left side. Coat of old varnish. Action works properly. Bore is poor. Ramrod possibly the original, with worm. An interesting Kentucky style Philadelphia flintlock pistol. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
