G24 (t) manufactured in Czechoslovakia by Povaszka Bystrica in 1942 to arm Germany's forces in World War II. Essentially identical to the Czechoslovakian vz. 24, roughly a quarter million of these rifles were produced for Germany before production of the Kar 98k took precedence in Czechoslovakia. Receiver ring is marked "dou/42". Matching numbers include the receiver, bolt, and stock. Waffenamt "A80" on receiver with "WaAA80" on stock. "H" Heer stamp on buttstock. Laminated stock with later war cupped buttplate numbered "115". No import marks. Complete with cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal components retain majority of blue finish with areas of patina showing through finish. Stocks show minor handling marks, aside from a chip at the toe. Mirror bore with strong rifling throughout. Mechanically excellent. A fine example of a uncommon German WWII rifle that would be sure to be a welcome addition to any WWII firearms enthusiast's collection. MW
