Lot consists of: (A) Vernier New Model with 15" barrel, chambered in .22 rimfire. Combination fold-down front with frame mounted vernier rear sights. Blue and nickel with detachable skeleton stock. Two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine overall with 95% original blue on barrel with scattered corrosion and light pitting. 95% original nickel with light flaking on edges. Grips are fine showing light to moderate wear. Good bore with light pitting. (B) No. 42 with 10" barrel chambered in .22 rimfire globe front and adjustable "peep" rear sights. Blue and nickel with two piece walnut grips and detachable skeleton stock. CONDITION: Very fine overall with most all original thinning blue on barrel. 98% original bright nickel on frame and stock. Excellent grips showing light wear. Strong fire blue on hammer and trigger. Good bore with strong rifling. From the Mel Hrubetz collection. -MKS-
