Arguably the finest .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol ever made. The Woodsman was first offered by Colt in 1927 but the forerunner to this gun, referred to as a Pre-Woodsman was introduced in 1915 and was offered through 1977. This is the thin barrel target model with adjustable front and rear sights, blue finish and fully checkered walnut grips. The full blue magazine is stamped "COLT CAL .22 LR". This gun has some high edge and light muzzle wear and some thinning on backstrap but would still rate a solid 95% original finish. Fine bore and action. The original hinged box has matching pencil number on bottom and comes with Colt screwdriver and paperwork. It is missing the front top apron and shows wear with full proper end label. From the Mel Hrubetz collection.
