FEATURES INCLUDE; Round barrel, inverted V front sight U notch rear sight grip safety, wood checkered grips with borders. "WAFFENFABRIK BERN" on the front toggle link. All matching numbers. This was the first model of Luger that was made in Switzerland. This was the second gun made in 1922. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 92% of the original factory applied blue finish. The small parts have been re-strawed. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Wood checkered grips show some slight wear. Tin commercial style magazine with an unnumbered wood bottom. "P 56" just in front of the trigger guard designates that it was taken out of the military stock and sold publicly in 1956. Comes in a nice Swiss holster with shoulder straps.
