Manufactured by DWM in 1915. All external numbers are matching, including barrel, locking bolt, safety, ejector, recoil lever, and forward toggle link. Checkered wood grips do not match and have faux carving on the inside with "Marne XXXXXX/ JJ 1923". Magazine is numbered "5594a". German Reichsadler is present on the barrel, receiver, and side of toggle link. Three piece holster is marked "Gebruder Klinge/ 1916/ Dresden". Luger takedown tool and spare magazine are not present in holster. CONDITION: Metal components show high edge wear with areas of patina showing through bluing. Front and rear straps show thinning. Strawed components show wear to finish. Markings on receiver and barrel are crisp. Bore has light pitting all around, but retains good rifling throughout. Grips show minor wear with few indentations to checkering. Holster is clean and in good condition, showing scattered handling marks and areas of aging. Overall, a fine example of a World War I era Luger. MW
