Manufactured for the German military by DWM. FEATURES INCLUDE; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight and V notch rear sight on rear link. Thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADEN", and front toggle link marked "DWM" in script. This is an all matching numbers gun except the magazine. Correct type of magazine but numbered 4573l. Comes in a World War I black holster. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 94% of the original factory applied rust blue finish. Factory straw color is 70%. The checkered grips show just a bit of handling and storage marks with no chips or cracks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. This gun escaped being sent back to the factory and having a hold open device added, which makes it a very scarce variation. The leather strap for the buckle has been broken off. Leather is pliable and all the stitching is tight. From the Mel Hrubetz collection. REW
