Made by Collath in Frankfurt, Germany pre-World War II, this drilling has Collath style horn underlever release and forend mechanism typical to Collath guns. Hammerless game scene engraved coin finished action with double triggers and winged Collath style safety. Fine figured European walnut stock with pistol grip, cheekpiece and horn buttplate, trigger guard and cap. Finely engraved bullet trap in stock with room for five shells. Checkered splinter type forend with typical Collath release. Comes with typical style sling swivels. CONDITION: 90% of old reblue left on barrels with some light scratches. Frame retains sharp engraving. Wood has 90% of an old refinish with some light handling marks. Mechanics are good, except safety does not work correctly and rear sight does not pop up. DLM
