Lot consists of: (A) 1880 vintage and (B) 1879 vintage. Both guns are standard three band musket configuration with full length forearms. CONDITION: (A) Good overall with no original finish remaining. Wood is sound showing moderate to heavy use. Strong bore. Action is tight. Replaced rear barrel sight. (B) Good overall. Metal has been polished with randomly applied areas of cold blue. Replaced rear barrel sight. Replaced stock with a rifle style crescent buttplate. Wood has been sanded. Bore is strong.
