Miroku manufactured Winchester 1895 lever action rifle in the "Medicine Gun for Lions" cartridge, .405 Winchester with original box. Features include a tang safety and lever safety with Schnabel forend and straight grain walnut stocks. CONDITION: Excellent overall with nearly all of the factory finish remaining on both the metal parts and the stocks. Very minute handling and storage marks throughout. Action works correctly and locks up tightly with tang safety preventing hammer from hitting the firing pin when in the position marked "S" or safe. Bore is good but would clean to excellent with a good cleaning to remove the powder residue. A great opportunity to own a classic gun in a classic cartridge, and you would actually be able to shoot it! TN
