This is a standard late production Remington Rand 1911A1 made in 1945, towards the end of production. FJA inspected. Accompanied by the original shipping box from Raritan Arsenal dated 1964 which has the serial number of the gun on the shipping label, inside the shipping carton is the original cardboard box from the factor. The box lists a total of two magazines with this gun, however there is only one present. CONDITION: Extremely fine, showing only very minor handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is fine with sharp bright rifling. Fine mechanical function. Gun retains 98%+ of the original factory finish. The cardboard box is very good with some minor handling marks and scuffing. The shipping carton is solid, some scuffs. There is a plastic wrapping around the body of the box which protects both the COD label as well as the shipping label. GR
