Norwegian Model 1914 licensed copy of the Colt model 1911 produced at the Kongsberg Vapenfabrik factory during World War II. This is one of 920 made. This gun is Nazi proofed on the left side of the slide before the standard Norwegian markings. All numbers are matching. Dated 1945 on the right side of the slide. Two piece wood grips. Import marked on the left side of the frame under the grip. Double pinned lanyard ring magazine. Accompanying this gun is a spare set of original grips. Also included is a .22 conversion barrel and five .22 sub-caliber .45 ACP rounds. The barrel has a proof mark on the rear of the lug. Cartridges are unmarked. CONDITION: Retains 95% parkerized finish. All markings are clear. Some light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Grips are very good showing some wear and handling marks. Fine mechanical function. Accessories are in matching condition. GR
