Colt reintroduced these great semi-automatic pistols to honor the famous 1911A1 as government issued during World War II. Parkerized finish. Half moon front sight, U notch rear, serrated slide release and safety, checkered spurred hammer, serrated arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Right side of frame marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY" with Waldemar Broberg inspector stamp on left side of frame above trigger guard, below slide release. "Coltwood" plastic checkered grips. Gun comes complete with pasteboard box that closely replicate the GI issued boxes, along with two piece blue Colt box, paperwork, takedown tool, shipping sleeve and extra magazine. CONDITION: Pistol is in like new condition with some microscratches from storage, appears to have been test fired only with an excellent bore and action. EW
