Late 19th to early 20th century. France. The trunk affixed with an original label with the inventory number "787777". The trunk retains seven original wood hangers on brackets and four fabric shoe compartments with button fasteners. The original brass clasp of the trunk with key, serial number 03249. All strapping, brass studs and hardware are original and intact with the exception of the leather carrying handle at one end. Trunk retains original LV monogrammed covering. The trunk additionally with a red-painted placard at the ends with the owner's name "C. CURTIS" in black letters. Size: 17" T. x 44" L. x 22" W. Condition: The trunk with well-preserved original surface, exterior with light bruising and abrasions from use. Carrying handles absent as previously mentioned. Trunk remains in very good structural and aesthetic condition.
